PagoPA paid but not visible: when to go to the motor vehicle office
Before your appointment, check PagoPA status on the portal, the valid receipt and whether the payment is linked to the applicant's tax code.
After paying for a licence procedure, check “My payments” on the Portale dell’automobilista and print the receipt there. If the procedure is missing, check the IUV and tax code and ask the UMC before paying again.
Check the status and receipt on the portal
A confirmation from your bank or payment app shows that you initiated the payment, but MIT requires the receipt issued by the Portale dell’automobilista for the application. Sign in, open “PagoPA online payments” and then “My payments”. Find the transaction and confirm that it is marked paid; the procedure detail lets you print the receipt when the system makes it available.
Compare the IUV with the notice and check the tariff selected. The payment is valid when the tax code of the procedure holder matches the tax code of the person named on the licence or document requested. If you signed in using a parent's or delegate's credentials, check that the candidate's details were entered for the payment. A payment made with the wrong tax code may not be associated with the procedure even if money left the account.
If the procedure is missing or the appointment is near
If the payment shows as completed but does not appear among your procedures, do not immediately assume it was lost or must be repeated. Check the tariff code and IUV status, save the provider confirmation and contact the PagoPA support listed by MIT or the UMC handling the application. Give requested information through official channels and ask whether you should wait for association, correct details or follow another process.
Before your appointment, contact the UMC to learn which documents it accepts and whether the portal receipt is available. Bring the official receipt once it can be printed and keep the payment confirmation as additional evidence. Avoid paying twice without instructions: MIT has specific procedures for incorrect or undue payments. Quiz Patente Ufficiale helps study B theory through quizzes, explanations and error review; it cannot read your payment status or associate it with an application.

Frequently asked questions
Is the bank receipt enough for the application?
MIT identifies the receipt printed from the Portale dell’automobilista as the one to submit. Keep the bank confirmation too, but check with the UMC if the portal document is missing.
Should I pay again if I cannot see the payment?
First check the IUV, tariff and tax code, then contact support or the UMC. Do not duplicate the payment without instructions on handling the first one.
